My dream come true…on November 1st 2008, I married the greatest guy and the next day departed on a dream honeymoon…
This isn’t a Hawaii trip report, but more an account of a once-in-a-lifetime trip. This was the very first trip report I had ever written, and I literally started it about a day after we got back from our honeymoon and finished it in about 48 hours.
This links to the original Google Pages website, and everything remains the same as when I wrote it in 2008…I didn’t want to tamper with it, and have it remain forever untouched, with spelling and grammar mistakes and all…I wanted to preserve the memories in the moment when I wrote it. Even the photos are straight out of camera. Back then I didn’t know how to use Photoshop or Lightroom so none of the photos are edited. It was an unbelievable trip, and although we’d love to visit the Tahitian Islands again, the distance and cost just makes it too difficult…maybe for our 20th anniversary!
In short, here’s what we booked:
- Flights via Air Tahiti Nui from LAX to Tahiti. and Air Tahiti Inter-Island flights (sooo expensive!)
- 2 nights in Papeete at the Intercontinental in their pool view room, before hopping on a puddle jumper to Bora Bora
- 6 nights at the Intercontinental Thalasso Bora Bora in an over-water bungalow. Soooo over the moon about that!
So without further ado, our Honeymoon in Tahiti and Bora Bora (opens in google sites). Enjoy!
